Unlike Singapore, good steamboats/hot pots here aren’t really as common. We are used to having lots of food buffet style where we could take what we wanted, how much we wanted. This reduced wastage but it could not guarantee the freshness of what we ate.

This is what I love about iPot.

Located in a heritage-listed building at the junction of Dixon and Goulburn Streets, opposite Mamak and Nonya, iPot serves up a really good hot pot.

Each diner gets a personal pot of soup of their choice and there’s 7 to choose from! However, the food is all ala carte with a huge selection of sauces.
