The Foodie

The love of food comes from growing up in a multiracial country. The simplest of joys can be found in a nice hot bowl of Pho, or the sweet, delicate flavours of a macaroon, even the most basic of ingredients, if fresh whets the appetite.

Born in Singapore, I am accustomed to local hawker fare and adapt very well to spice. Growing up, I was introduced to Western cuisines with my Mum running 2 Continental restaurants and an Aunt, her own Greek restaurant.

Having spent the last 10 years in Sydney, Australia, I have experienced food like no other. I would never have tried and loved cow’s tongue soup nor enjoyed the vast variety of food in just one country.

Food is definitely no stranger. ♥
